Back in 2013 I bought my first project car, a 1985 Mazda Rx7 without a title.  What started with a plan as a "5 speed swap" has turned into the monster you see today.  While I was building my RX-7 I stumbled into drifting through a roommate and I decided to take the RX-7 drifting...

I soon found out that there was little to no aftermarket support for the 1st generation RX-7, it was kind of a forgotten model of the RX-7, with the FC and FD chassis stealing the spotlight.  I persevered, and used the skills I had gained while working in the motorsport industry to design and build a number of custom parts for my RX-7.  After I started sharing this on Facebook and Youtube, I realized that there are more people out there just like me, customizing and building their SA or FB RX-7, and in need of high-quality, well engineered products.  Thus, Drifting Dad Performance LLC was born.  As we grow, we will continue to offer new products for this forgotten chassis.
